(Dan Tri) - A 7th grade female student in Ha Tinh was hit on the head with a wooden ruler by a male classmate, causing her to feel dizzy and nauseous, so she had to go to a medical facility for treatment. Behind the incident is a sad story about the male student's situation.

On the morning of November 11, Mr. Phan Trong Hung, Principal of Huong Giang Secondary School (Huong Pho Commune, Ha Tinh Province), said that the school is coordinating with Huong Pho Commune Police to clarify the case of a 7th grade female student being beaten by a classmate and had to be hospitalized for treatment.

According to initial verification, during recess on the morning of November 7, female student LKL (class 7C) was in the schoolyard when her classmate CHBL used a 40cm long wooden ruler to hit her head multiple times.

When she returned home, the female student showed signs of fatigue, headache, dizziness, and nausea, so she told her relatives about the incident.

The family then took her to Huong Khe Medical Center for emergency treatment and then transferred her to Ha Tinh General Hospital for treatment. According to relatives, the girl suffered bruises and a swollen head and is still in the hospital.

"L.'s health was not as stable as her friends'. After the incident, her mental health was affected, making her family very worried," said teacher Hung.

After receiving the information, the school coordinated with Gia Pho Commune Police to invite the parents of the two students to work. Because the female student L. has not yet received an official medical conclusion, the school has temporarily not applied disciplinary action against the student who caused the incident.

According to the principal, the male student at CHBL has poor academic performance and has previously gotten into fights with his friends. His situation is quite difficult as his parents are divorced and he lives with his elderly grandparents.

"Due to the lack of care from his family, BL's psychology and behavior were somewhat affected. Living with his elderly grandparents, education and orientation for him also encountered many difficulties. The family asked for the boy to drop out of school, but the school still tried to care for and encourage him to continue going to class," Mr. Hung shared.
