Japanese hearts help Ha Tinh students overcome difficulties

On the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day, the Japan International Friendly Association continues its volunteer journey, awarding annual scholarships to students with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies at high schools in Ha Tinh province.

Day   November 10,   A working delegation of the Japan International Friendly Association (JIFA) led by Ms. Ikeda Setsuko, President of the Association, was present in Ha Tinh to implement the scholarship awarding program for the 2025-2026 school year at 3 high schools: Nguyen Hue, Ky Lam and Ky Anh, according to the plan approved by the Provincial People's Committee.

This activity is part of the annual charity program that JIFA has maintained in Ha Tinh since 2010, with the goal of improving learning conditions, adding motivation and encouraging the spirit of overcoming difficulties for students. This year, JIFA awarded about 100 scholarships, each worth 10,000 Japanese yen (equivalent to 1.6 million VND).

The program is held at   3   schools with specific number of scholarships: Nguyen Hue High School 10 scholarships, Ky Lam High School 6 scholarships and Ky Anh High School 10 scholarships. Of these, 26 students   Okay   received new scholarships, and 73 students from previous years continued to receive scholarships. The funds were transferred directly to the school for the Board of Directors to give to the students.

In addition to financial support, JIFA also opens up future orientation opportunities for students who wish to study abroad or work in Japan, through the cooperation network between JIFA and partners in Japan. Thanks to that, students have more opportunities to develop after graduation.

The simple but meaningful scholarships from JIFA continue to be a great source of encouragement, helping Ha Tinh students to be more confident in their studies and fostering the close relationship between the people of the two countries Vietnam.   -   Japan.
