The National Assembly held a separate meeting on personnel work under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man .
1. The National Assembly heard the following contents:
- Vice President of the National Assembly , Permanent Vice President of the National Election Council Nguyen Thi Thanh presented: ( i) Report of the National Assembly Standing Committee on supplementing the number of Vice Presidents of the 15th National Assembly; ( ii) Report of the National Assembly Standing Committee on supplementing the number of members of the National Election Council; ( iii) Report of the President of the National Election Council on approving the dismissal of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh from the position of Permanent Vice President of the National Election Council and Head of the Personnel Subcommittee; dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc from the position of Member of the National Election Council with the structure of Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee and dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia with the structure of Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.
- Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented the President's Proposal on the proposal to dismiss Mr. Le Minh Tri from the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2021-2026 term.
Afterward, The National Assembly conducted an electronic vote on the above contents, with the following results: 449 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 94.73% of the total number of National Assembly delegates); of which, 448 delegates approved (equal to 94.51% of the total number of National Assembly delegates), and 01 delegate did not vote (equal to 0.21% of the total number of National Assembly delegates).
2. The National Assembly listened to the Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the Office of the National Assembly Le Quang Manh present the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on supplementing the number of Vice Chairmen of the 15th National Assembly and the Resolution of the National Assembly on supplementing the number of members of the National Election Council. The National Assembly then voted to approve the above Resolutions electronically, with the following results:
- Resolution supplementing number Vice President 15th National Assembly : 446 delegates participated in the vote ( equal to 94.09% of the total number of National Assembly delegates); of which, 446 delegates approved ( equal to 94.09 % of the total number of National Assembly delegates, equal to 100% of the number of National Assembly delegates present).
- Resolution supplementing number amount Councilor National election : 442 delegates participated in the vote ( equal to 93.25% of the total number of National Assembly delegates); of which, 442 delegates approved ( equal to 93.25% of the total number of National Assembly delegates , equal to 100% of the number of National Assembly delegates present).
3. The National Assembly conducts a secret ballot on personnel matters; listens to the Vote Counting Committee announce the results of the vote counting on personnel matters.
4. The National Assembly listened to the Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the Office of the National Assembly Le Quang Manh present the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the dismissal of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and the Resolution of the National Assembly on the dismissal of the Vice Chairman and Member of the National Election Council. The National Assembly then voted to approve the above Resolutions electronically, with the following results:
- Resolution on dismissal of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court : 443 delegates participated in the vote ( equal to 93.46 % of the total number of National Assembly deputies); of which, 443 delegates approved (equal to 93.46% of the total number of National Assembly deputies, equal to 100% of the number of National Assembly deputies present).
- Resolution to dismiss Vice Chairman and Councilor National election : 434 delegates participated in the vote ( equal to 91.56% of the total number of National Assembly delegates); of which, 434 delegates approved ( equal to 91.56% of the total number of National Assembly delegates , equal to 100% of the number of National Assembly delegates present).
5. The National Assembly listened to the following contents: ( i) Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh presented the Report of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the election of the Vice Chairwoman of the 15th National Assembly; ( ii) Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented the Report of the President on the election of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2021-2026 term.
6. The National Assembly voted to approve the list to elect Mr. Do Van Chien as Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly by electronic means, with the following results: 415 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 87.55% of the total number of National Assembly delegates); of which, 415 delegates approved (equal to 87.55% of the total number of National Assembly delegates, equal to 100% of the number of National Assembly delegates present).
7. The National Assembly voted to approve the list to elect Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Nguyen Van Quang electronically, with the following results: 423 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 89.24% of the total number of National Assembly deputies); of which, 423 delegates approved (equal to 89.24% of the total number of National Assembly deputies, equal to 100% of the number of National Assembly deputies present).
8. The National Assembly conducted a secret ballot to elect the Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly and the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2021-2026 term; and listened to the Vote Counting Committee announce the results of the vote counting on personnel work.
9. The National Assembly listened to the Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh present the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the election of Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly; then, the National Assembly voted to pass the above Resolution electronically, with the following results: 412 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 86.92% of the total number of National Assembly deputies); of which, 412 delegates approved (equal to 86.92% of the total number of National Assembly deputies), equal to 100% of the number of National Assembly deputies present).

10. The National Assembly listened to the Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the Office of the National Assembly Le Quang Manh present the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the election of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2021-2026 term; then, the National Assembly voted to pass the above Resolution electronically, with the following results: 441 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 93.04% of the total number of National Assembly deputies); of which, 440 delegates approved (equal to 92.83% of the total number of National Assembly deputies), and 01 delegate did not approve (equal to 0.21% of the total number of National Assembly deputies).
11. Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2021-2026 term Nguyen Van Quang took the oath of office and delivered his inaugural speech. The oath-taking ceremony was broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam.

13. The National Assembly conducted a secret ballot on the approval of a number of Vice Chairmen and members of the National Election Council; and listened to the Vote Counting Committee announce the results of the vote counting on personnel work.
14. The National Assembly listened to the Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the Office of the National Assembly Le Quang Manh present the draft Resolution of the National Assembly approving the proposal of the Chairman of the National Election Council on the Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Election Council and Head of the Personnel Subcommittee for Mr. Do Van Chien and Vice Chairman of the National Election Council for Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Member of the National Election Council for Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh and Mr. Tran Sy Thanh. Then, the National Assembly voted to pass the above Resolution electronically, with the following results: 435 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 91.77% of the total number of National Assembly deputies); of which, 435 delegates approved (equal to 91.77% of the total number of National Assembly deputies, equal to 100% of the National Assembly deputies present).
AFTERNOON :
Under the chairmanship of Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the following contents:
1. Population Law Project.
2. Draft Law on Disease Prevention.
At the discussion session, 20 National Assembly delegates spoke, specifically:
- About d Population Law project : the majority of delegates basically agreed with the necessity of developing and promulgating the Population Law and many contents in the Review Report of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society. - About Draft Law on Disease Prevention : The majority of delegates basically agreed with the necessity of developing and promulgating the Law on Disease Prevention and many contents in the Review Report of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society. In addition, delegates discussed and contributed opinions, focusing on a number of contents: scope of regulation, subjects of application; explanation of terms; State policies on disease prevention; risk factors, early detection and measures to prevent mental health disorders; prevention of mental disorders in the community; disease prevention in educational institutions; nutrition for children; nutrition for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and children under 24 months of age; research, application of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in disease prevention; funding sources for disease prevention; international cooperation in disease prevention; subjects, content, requirements and forms of information, education and communication on disease prevention; prevention and control of risk factors causing non-communicable diseases; measures to prevent and control non-communicable diseases; funding sources for disease prevention work;…
