Specifically, in Resolution No. 241/2025/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to elect Mr. Do Van Chien, Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, and Member of the 15th National Assembly, to the position of Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly.
In Resolution No. 242/2025/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to elect Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, to the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the term 2021-2026.
In Resolution No. 243/2025/QH15, the National Assembly resolved: to approve the proposal of the Chairman of the National Election Council regarding the Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Election Council and Head of the Personnel Subcommittee for Mr. Do Van Chien, Member of the Political Bureau and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; and to approve the proposal of the Chairman of the National Election Council regarding the Vice Chairman of the National Election Council for Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The National Assembly also approved the proposal of the Chairman of the National Election Council regarding the following members of the National Election Council: Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly; and Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee.
The Resolutions will take effect from the date they are voted on and adopted by the National Assembly, November 10, 2025.
