The entire 110kV power grid affected by storm No. 13 has been restored.

By this morning, November 10, nearly 1.4 million customers in the Central Highlands had their power restored after damage caused by storm No. 13. The entire 110kV power grid affected by the storm has been reconnected.

According to information from Vietnam Electricity (EVN), as of 7:00 a.m. today, November 10, the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) has restored power to more than 1.39 million customers, reaching 84.4% of the total number of customers affected by storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi).

Currently, more than 258,000 customers in Gia Lai and Dak Lak (accounting for 5.2% of the total number of EVNCPC customers) are still without electricity. Power companies and EVNCPC shock teams, with a total force of more than 2,300 officers, engineers and workers, are urgently fixing the problem, making efforts to soon restore electricity to serve people's lives and production.

For the medium voltage grid, there have been 468 incidents. To date, the corporation has restored 353 incidents (75.4%), and 115 incidents are still being handled.

EVNCPC has 19,563 affected distribution transformer stations, of which 16,473 stations (84.2%) have been restored, while 3,090 stations (5.4%) are being handled.

Specifically, Gia Lai Electricity Company has restored 117/208 incidents, while more than 203,400 customers (20.8% of total customers) and 2,382 transformer stations (20.6%) are without power, with an estimated lost capacity of 126.6MW (18.9%).

Dak Lak Electricity Company has restored 89/113 incidents, while more than 54,700 customers (5.8% of total customers) and 708 transformer stations (6.7%) are without power, with a capacity loss of 22.3MW (4.1%).

On the 110kV grid, by the evening of November 9, the 110kV Hoai Nhon - Phu My line belonging to Gia Lai Electricity Company (the last line affected) was urgently handled and re-energized, bringing the entire 110kV grid of EVNCPC to stable and safe operation.

EVNCPC is currently continuing to mobilize maximum human resources, means and equipment, striving to complete the restoration of power supply to the entire Central Highlands region as soon as possible, ensuring a safe and stable power source to serve people after the storm.
