According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, due to the continued weakening of the cold air mass, the northern region has experienced light rain and high humidity (humid weather) in recent days, and this weather pattern is expected to continue until November 11th.
Forecasts indicate that due to the strengthening of the cold air mass, around November 13-14, the northern region will experience cold weather at night and in the morning. During this period, the humid weather in the North will decrease.
Even though it's only the beginning of winter (this year's winter officially starts on November 7th), the North is already experiencing humid weather, with high humidity causing condensation and dampness on floors, walls, and furniture.
According to the head of the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, the weather in the North is usually sunny and dry in late autumn and early winter. However, this year the cold air arrived early, bringing a lot of rain. Over the past two days, many people have felt the humid weather.
For the past two days, Hanoi and many other places in northern Vietnam have experienced light rain throughout the day, with a maximum temperature of around 28 degrees Celsius and high humidity above 80%.

According to the head of the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, this humid weather phenomenon occurs annually from the end of winter to the beginning of spring (around February-April).
At this time, due to the influence of a weakening cold air mass shifting eastward, coupled with the southeasterly winds from the maritime air mass bringing moisture from the sea inland, humid weather is created.
According to the meteorological and hydrological agency, the Northern region will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms from the night of November 9th to 11th, with cold weather at night and in the morning, and freezing temperatures in mountainous areas. Around November 13th-14th, there is a possibility of colder weather at night and in the morning due to the influence of a strengthening cold front.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh will experience scattered rain and showers from the night of November 9th to 11th. The area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai will have scattered rain, with the possibility of scattered rain, showers, and thunderstorms around November 14th-15th.
Other areas are forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially in the southern part of the Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam on the afternoon and evening of November 9-10.
The meteorological and hydrological agency predicts that in November, 2-3 typhoons or tropical depressions are likely to form in the South China Sea, with 1-2 of them potentially affecting the Vietnamese mainland.
Forecasts indicate that cold fronts will continue to increase in frequency and intensity throughout November.
In addition, in the provinces from Ha Tinh to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa, there is a possibility of widespread heavy rain in November. The western part of Lam Dong province and the Southern region will experience many days of showers and thunderstorms, with some days possibly having moderate to heavy rain.
The meteorological and hydrological agency also warned that dangerous weather phenomena such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind could continue to occur nationwide in November.
