The leader of Thuong Duc commune said that from October 25 to 30, the commune experienced prolonged heavy rain, rising river levels causing widespread flooding.

After the water receded, thick mud accumulated in most agencies, units and schools, making it difficult to clean up, sanitize and restore working and teaching conditions. Meanwhile, local human and material resources are still limited, unable to ensure quick and timely implementation of flood recovery work.

Thuong Duc Commune proposed that the City Military Command and the Defense Command of Region V - Dien Ban pay attention to supporting forces and means to help the locality dredge mud, clean up schools and offices, and promptly serve teaching and work again.

The locality has also directed agencies, units, and schools to proactively mobilize forces and means to organize general cleaning. This work must be completed before November 3. (CONG TU)
