
Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh chaired the Conference to provide information and communication orientation in the fields of culture, sports and tourism.
Attending the Conference were Mr. Le Quang Tu Do - Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information; Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Director of the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information; Ms. Mai Huong Giang - Deputy Director of the Department of Press; representatives of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports; and more than 40 companies managing KOLs (MCN), representatives of major digital content pages/channels on cyberspace.
This is the first time the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has organized a conference dedicated to units and individuals operating in the field of digital media, with the goal of enhancing connections, sharing information and orienting propaganda content on culture, sports and tourism in the social network environment.

In the context of strong digital transformation today, cyberspace has become an inseparable part of social life. Content creators on digital platforms, especially KOLs and MCNs, are having a profound influence on public awareness, lifestyle and behavior, especially among young people.
With the characteristics of the culture, sports and tourism sector, a sector directly related to the spiritual life of the people, standard, positive and in-depth communication on digital platforms is a key factor contributing to spreading the good values of Vietnamese people, promoting the image of the country, and at the same time fighting and refuting false and negative information.
At the Conference, leaders of relevant units exchanged and provided information on recent outstanding events, and provided the latest information on policies, orientations, programs, and major events in the coming time, as well as orientations for building a healthy cultural environment in cyberspace.

Representatives of state management agencies also shared about the development trends of digital content, management work, and operational orientation of cross-border social networking platforms; at the same time, they requested MCN companies, KOLs, and content creators to closely coordinate with state management agencies to spread official information and create a positive and humane media ecosystem.
During the discussion, representatives of MCNs, content production units and creators discussed information content and difficulties and obstacles in the operation process; at the same time, if recommendations and proposals for state management agencies. At the same time, it was proposed that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism create more regular connection channels to update official information and support content orientation on culture, sports and tourism for the creative community.

Appreciating the contributions in information work, the spirit of cooperation and responsibility of participating businesses and units, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism suggested that in the coming time, MCNs, KOLs, digital content pages/channels promote their role as communication bridges, contributing to spreading good values, building the image of Vietnam as humane, modern, integrated but still imbued with national identity.
The conference is considered an important first step in strengthening coordination between state management agencies and digital content creators, towards building a healthy, safe cyberspace rich in Vietnamese cultural identity.
