Comrade Le Xuan Huy, Secretary of the Youth Union of Vietnam Post Corporation, presented the direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
At the Congress, the Executive Committee of the Corporation's Youth Union presented the Political Report, summarizing the implementation results of the Resolution of the 3rd Congress, term 2022-2027 (2022-2025 period) and setting out directions and tasks for the new term 2025-2030 .
During the past half term, despite being affected by the complex socio-economic situation and fierce competition in the logistics - postal market, the Vietnam Post Youth Union still maintained its role as a pioneering, creative and cohesive force, completing all targets, many of which far exceeded the plan: 85 youth projects and tasks at all levels were effectively implemented, including 35 projects at the Corporation level; Over 1,000 initiatives and technical improvements of union members were recognized, contributing to improving productivity and quality of production and business; Nearly 7,400 units of blood were donated, more than 13.9 billion VND for social security and volunteer activities; 299 outstanding union members were introduced to the Party, of which 88 comrades were honored to be admitted.
Propaganda and education on revolutionary ideals, ethics, civilized lifestyles, and behavior in cyberspace continue to be creatively innovated, closely linked to the characteristics of production and business activities. Revolutionary action movements such as "Creative Youth", "Volunteer Youth", "Youth Volunteers to Protect the Fatherland" are widely deployed, creating positive spillovers throughout the system.
In particular, the "Creative Youth" movement has become a prominent mark, directly contributing to the digital transformation of Vietnam Post, when many initiatives of union members have been applied in practice, helping to save costs, increase operational efficiency and improve service quality.
Entering the new term, the Youth Union of Vietnam Post Corporation sets the goal: Building a strong, creative, pioneering, united and effective Youth Union organization, contributing directly to the sustainable development of the Corporation, a pillar enterprise in the national postal network.
Accordingly, the 2025-2030 term focuses on 05 key groups of tasks: Strengthening political and ideological education, raising awareness, courage and life ideals for union members and young people; Promoting the movement of initiatives, innovation, encouraging research and application of science and technology in practical activities; Accompanying young people in study, career and life, creating an environment for training and comprehensive development; Building a team of Union officials with capacity, responsibility and prestige, acting as the core in the work of the Union - Association - Team in the whole Industry; Promoting the pioneering role of youth in digital transformation, spreading the brand value and culture of Vietnam Post.
With the slogan of action "Vietnam Post Youth - Courageous, creative, pioneering, dedicated to the development of the Industry and the country", the General Corporation's Youth Union is determined to affirm its position as a youthful, dynamic, pioneering force in all areas of corporate life.
The Congress also officially announced the decision to accept the Vietnam Post Corporation Delegation under the Ministry of Science and Technology Delegation, marking an important turning point in the organization, opening a new development stage with a professional and modern operational orientation, closely linked to the development goals of the Postal industry and the national digital transformation strategy.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Hung Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Post Corporation, praised and acknowledged the outstanding results that the youth of the Corporation had achieved in the past term. At the same time, he highly appreciated the pioneering role, creativity and spirit of the youth union members in all areas of activities, from youth projects, technical initiatives to social security movements and building corporate culture.
In addition, to make the Youth Union's work increasingly systematic, professional and substantial, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Corporation has oriented five key groups of tasks for the Youth Union's work in the period 2025-2030.
Comrade Nguyen Hung Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Post Corporation, gave a speech at the Congress.
Accordingly, it is necessary to continue to innovate working methods, shifting from doing a lot to doing effectively, taking specific results as a measure; Linking Union activities with production and business tasks, encouraging union members to take on difficult tasks, register initiatives and digital transformation models; Caring for, nurturing and planning young staff, creating opportunities to practice, challenge, develop leadership qualities and capacity; Innovating emulation, rewarding, promptly honoring advanced models to spread positive spirit throughout the network;
Finally, promote the discovery, training and introduction of outstanding union members to the Party, considering this an important measure in assessing the quality of the Union organization.
The leaders of the Party Committee of the Corporation expressed their belief that, with the pioneering spirit, creativity and the will to constantly strive, each member and each Youth Union organization of Vietnam Post Corporation will turn those orientations into concrete actions, contributing to making the Youth Union work increasingly practical and effective, positively contributing to the overall development of the enterprise in the new development stage.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology, comrade Tran Xuan Bach, member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology, member of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology sent congratulations on the success of the Congress, and at the same time acknowledged the positive contributions of the youth of Vietnam Post in the Youth Union movements in recent years.
Comrade Tran Xuan Bach, member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology, member of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity and creativity and had high expectations for the new development journey of the youth of Vietnam Post in the period 2025-2030.
Comrade Tran Xuan Bach emphasized that in the new period, the General Corporation's Youth Union needs to continue to improve the capacity, bravery, culture and professional ethics of youth union members, imbued with the traditional values of "loyalty and loyalty" of the Postal industry, combined with the spirit of innovation and creativity, typical of the science and technology industry.
He also suggested that the General Corporation's Youth Union link its activities with professional tasks, take work efficiency as a criterion for evaluating movements; promote technology application, digital transformation, and technical innovation initiatives to create specific values and spread the positive image of the Post Office.
In the context of Vietnam Post Corporation being under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Youth Union needs to build a modern and adaptive operating model, expressing its identity that is both culturally distinctive and imbued with the spirit of science - creativity - integration.
Along with that, the Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology encouraged the Youth Union of the Corporation to strengthen coordination and exchange with other Youth Unions under the Ministry of Science and Technology to create synergy, share experiences, expand resources and develop common movements of the bloc.
Comrade Tran Xuan Bach expressed his belief that with the proud tradition and aspiration to contribute, the youth of Vietnam Post will quickly integrate, develop strongly and become a pioneer in the Youth Union system of the Ministry of Science and Technology, contributing to the overall development of the Industry and the country.
At the Congress, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Post Corporation Youth Union, term IV, 2025-2030, was elected, including exemplary young cadres with capacity, qualities and prestige, representing the aspirations, intelligence and solidarity of the youth of the entire Corporation.
