On the morning of June 13, 2025, the Center for Application, Engineering, Science and Technology Information (Center) organized the first scientific workshop to demonstrate the connection between technology supply and demand in 2025.

This is a public service task using the state budget in the field of science and technology: Implementing technology transfer connection activities to contribute to the development of the science and technology market in Long An province in 2025, assigned by the Department of Science and Technology to the Center. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the workshop, Ms. Ho Thi Diep Thuy - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology said that the workshop was organized with the aim of updating the latest regulations on measurement, quality and electronic invoices in the field of petroleum trading; Introducing technology solutions, management software, data connection systems to serve the transparency of petroleum retail activities, contributing to strengthening state management activities in the field of measurement, quality and tax collection, and at the same time implementing the policy of comprehensive digitalization of petroleum retail activities under the direction of the Central Government.

Within the framework of the workshop program, delegates listened to representatives of the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality - Department of Science and Technology disseminate regulations on quality measurement in petroleum trading, notes to ensure measurement in issuing electronic invoices in petroleum trading. Delegates attending the workshop were also introduced by representatives of Viet Petroleum Equipment One Member Co., Ltd. (Viet E Company) to smart petrol pumps and VEMART electronic invoice issuance solutions to help businesses and petroleum trading establishments comply with state regulations while improving management capacity, optimizing operations, opening up opportunities for outstanding development by minimizing errors and creating differences in customer experience. Here, Viet E Company also demonstrated the operation of a smart petrol pump model integrating self-service mode, issuing electronic invoices, connecting to the national payment gateway and many other utilities for businesses in management and operation./.
