On the morning of October 30, a delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) visited and worked in Bac Ha commune to learn about the architecture of the ancient Hoang A Tuong mansion and to survey and evaluate the current status of urban traffic infrastructure, serving research and proposing investment in upgrading the inner-city traffic system in the coming time.

During the tour, the delegation was introduced to the history, unique architecture and cultural value of Hoang A Tuong mansion - a building considered the "architectural gem" of the Bac Ha highlands. The mansion was built in the early 20th century, with a combined Asian - European style, clearly showing the unique cultural exchange. With more than 100 years old, the building is not only a historical witness but also a cultural tourism highlight of the "white plateau".

During the working trip, representatives of the Asian Development Bank surveyed 5 key inner-city routes in the center of Bac Ha commune, including: Ngoc Uyen Street, 20/9 Street, Thanh Nien 1 Street, Thanh Nien 2 Street and Pho Moi Street. These are traffic routes that play an important role in connecting the commune center with neighboring areas, serving socio -economic development and tourism.

Representatives of the Asian Development Bank delegation highly appreciated the efforts of Bac Ha commune in planning, managing and gradually improving urban traffic infrastructure. However, some roads are still narrow and degraded, the drainage system and sidewalks are not synchronized, and need to be prioritized for investment and renovation to meet development needs and ensure traffic safety.

Through the field survey, the leaders of Bac Ha commune exchanged and provided specific information on the current status and orientation of urban development planning, and at the same time requested ADB to consider providing technical support and capital for projects to upgrade and expand inner-city traffic roads, contributing to building Bac Ha commune into a civilized and modern urban area, associated with sustainable tourism development.
