Inauguration of boarding kitchen for students of Trinh Tuong commune

On October 29, the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee in coordination with the Chinese Red Cross Society held the inauguration ceremony of a boarding kitchen for students of Coc My Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Trinh Tuong Commune.

Coc My Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Trinh Tuong Commune currently has 657 students, of which 232 are boarding students. Most of them are children of ethnic minorities, and their learning conditions are still lacking. In particular, the kitchen serving boarding students does not fully meet the conditions to ensure safety and daily activities.

Through the program "Nutrition for poor and disabled children" launched by the Vietnam Red Cross Society , the Chinese Red Cross Society sponsored the construction of a boarding kitchen for school students.

After a period of construction, the project was completed, with a total cost of nearly 300 million VND. In addition, the school was also given kitchen utensils by the sponsor, such as: refrigerator, gas stove, pots, pans, stainless steel trays, etc.

The completed project is a meaningful and practical gift for students and teachers of Coc My Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities. Thereby, creating conditions for students to have nutritious, hygienic meals, ensuring their health for studying and practicing.
