Vietnam Airlines transports free goods to support flood-hit areas in central Vietnam

From October 30, Vietnam Airlines will waive all transportation fees, fuel surcharges and related fees, and will be given priority in loading goods to support flood victims in the central region on Vietnam Airlines Group flights from airports across the country to central destinations including Hue, Da Nang, and Chu Lai.

Other organizations and individuals in need of transporting support goods can contact the above units.

With the desire to act as a bridge to share the difficulties of people affected by historic floods in the central provinces, Vietnam Airlines () announced to receive and transport free of charge support goods from agencies, unions, organizations and businesses on flights operated by Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO) to Hue, Da Nang and Chu Lai airports.

In the context of natural disasters causing much damage, Vietnam Airlines Group wishes not only to ensure safe and smooth operations, but also to proactively join hands with the community, contributing to connecting love and spreading the spirit of humanity and social responsibility of Vietnam Airlines.

Accordingly, from October 30, support goods will be exempted from all transportation fees, fuel surcharges and related fees, and will be given priority loading on Vietnam Airlines Group flights from airports across the country to central destinations including Hue, Da Nang , and Chu Lai.

This program applies to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, People's Committees of localities, units under the Vietnam Red Cross Society , socio-political organizations, State agencies, social organizations, charitable funds (licensed to operate by State agencies) and enterprises whose support purposes are confirmed or introduced by competent authorities.
