
Attending the event were comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; alternate members of the Party Central Committee: Vu Manh Ha, Permanent Deputy Minister of Health; Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union.
According to Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet, after more than 22 years of establishment and development, the Golden Globe Award has increasingly affirmed its prestige and global influence and become a driving force to arouse the pride and creative aspirations of the young generation of Vietnamese intellectuals. This year, the Award recorded 96 registrations, of which 83 were valid (an increase of 34% compared to 2024).

After the evaluation and selection rounds, the Organizing Committee has found the 10 best young scientists to present the Award. These individuals work in 5 national strategic science and technology fields: Information technology, digital transformation and automation; Medical and pharmaceutical technology; Biotechnology; Environmental technology; New material technology.
Meanwhile, the 2025 Vietnam Science and Technology Female Student Award received 176 applications, of which 130 were valid (an increase of 56.6% over the same period last year).
From there, the Organizing Committee selected 20 outstanding faces to present the Prize. The female students who won the Prize this year are studying and training in the fields of: Information technology, computers, mechanics, electricity-electronics-telecommunications, materials, environment, applied biology and architecture-construction. Notably, many female students are authors of Q1 international publications, young party members, outstanding Youth Union and Association officials...


Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Do Van Chien affirmed: In the era of globalization and the fourth industrial revolution, science, technology and innovation have become the core foundation that determines the position of a nation. Countries that are at the forefront of technology and innovation are the ones that will shape and lead the future of humanity.

The young scientists honored with the Golden Globe Science and Technology Awards this year are contributing to solving major challenges not only for Vietnam but also for humanity, from climate change, clean energy, artificial intelligence, precision medicine to new material technology.
Policies must be put into practice. They cannot remain on paper.
Emphasizing the Party and State's policy of promoting talents, comrade Do Van Chien requested that central departments, ministries, branches, the Fatherland Front, and mass organizations focus on reviewing, updating, and perfecting specific institutions and policies on discovering, selecting, nurturing, and promoting young talents in science and technology. Build a flexible financial mechanism, issue preferential policies on tax, land, credit, and opportunities to access innovation funds for young research groups and technology startups.
"We must put policies into practice. We must not let policies exist on paper. At the same time, we must remove all bottlenecks and barriers to develop science and technology, innovation and digital transformation," he said.

On the same morning, a delegation of young talents who won the Golden Globe Award and the Vietnam Science and Technology Female Student Award in 2025 visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Ho Chi Minh President Relic Site.
