At around 2:00 a.m. on October 30, heavy rain continued to persist, causing landslides at Dai Ninh Pass on National Highway 28B through Lam Dong province, temporarily blocking traffic.

The landslide location is at Km48+800 (Phan Son commune, Lam Dong province). At the scene, the right slope of National Highway 28B collapsed, a huge amount of rock and soil covered almost the entire road surface.

Currently, vehicles traveling in the direction of Phan Thiet - Da Lat and vice versa cannot operate. Authorities advise people to move in other directions.

Authorities are dispatching personnel and equipment to the scene. However, due to the large amount of rock and soil, the cleanup will take a long time.

Previously, on October 27, a serious landslide also occurred at Dai Ninh pass, causing complete traffic congestion.
