Dong Nai organizes a Vietnam-Laos Friendship Exchange Program.

(Dong Nai) - As part of the activities of the Dong Nai Province Friendship Culture and Sports Week 2025, on the afternoon and evening of October 30th, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai Province and the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association of Dong Nai Province organized a Vietnam-Laos Friendship Exchange program.

Attending this event were the Lao Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Phonesy Bounmixay; the Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Thi Loan; the President of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai Province, Nguyen Thanh Tri; and the President of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association of Dong Nai Province, Do Dang Tuoc.

On this occasion, the Lao Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Phonesy Bounmixay, expressed his gratitude to Dong Nai province for organizing the Vietnam-Lao Friendship Exchange Program in 2025.

Through this program, Mr. Phonesy Bounmixay once again affirmed the close and good relationship between the two Parties, the two States, and the people of Vietnam and Laos. At the same time, in his capacity, he will continue to cultivate this good traditional relationship.

Also during the program, delegates interacted and listened to the stories of Vietnamese veterans who had fought alongside their Laotian comrades in the resistance against the American imperialist invasion; the sentiments of Laotian students studying in Vietnam and Dong Nai province; and the efforts of students from Dong Nai province in building relationships and supporting Laotian students studying in the province.

On this occasion, the organizers presented gifts to encourage Lao students studying at colleges and universities in Dong Nai province.

In addition, Vietnamese and Lao students, along with members of the Vietnam-Lao Friendship Association of Dong Nai province, jointly performed cultural and artistic programs from both countries.
