The Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association has 10 branches and 18 sub-branches under its direct control. In 2025, the Association effectively implemented people-to-people diplomacy, organized many cultural exchange activities between Vietnam and Laos, and supported the lives and studies of Lao students in Tuyen Quang . The branches maintained regular activities, strengthened connections among members, promptly grasped the thoughts and aspirations of the members after the merger, and consolidated the association's staff. The Association's art clubs enthusiastically organized and participated in 12 cultural programs serving competitions, celebrations, and the National Unity Day, contributing to spreading the loyal and special friendship between the two nations.

In 2026, the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association will focus on disseminating and implementing the resolutions of the Party, especially those of the 14th National Congress of the Party; mobilizing members to actively participate in the elections of National Assembly and People's Council representatives at all levels; preparing to organize the first Congress of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association of Tuyen Quang province; and continuing to innovate methods of people-to-people diplomacy, improving the effectiveness of coordination in caring for Lao students studying in the province.
At the conference, the Executive Committee of the Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 30 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the Association's work in 2025. Launching the emulation movement for 2026, the Association called on the branches to continue to promote their role as bridges of friendship and build an increasingly strong Association organization.
