Two former Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs have been reprimanded.

VTV.vn - On December 16th, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Committee held its 70th session. Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, Tran Sy Thanh, presided over the session.

At this meeting, the Central Disciplinary Committee considered and concluded on the following matters:

Considering the report on the results of the inspection when there are signs of violations and the proposal for disciplinary action against Mr. Le Tan Dung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, former Member of the Party Committee, former Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs ; Mr. Doan Mau Diep, former Member of the Party Committee, former Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; the Central Inspection Committee finds that:

During their time as members of the Party Committee and Deputy Ministers of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Mr. Le Tan Dung and Mr. Doan Mau Diep violated Party regulations and State laws in the performance of their assigned duties; in the fight against corruption, waste, and negative practices; and violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility of setting an example, causing serious consequences and diminishing the prestige of the Party organization and the agency/unit where they worked, to the extent that disciplinary action had to be taken.

Considering the content, nature, extent, consequences, and causes of the violations; based on the Party's regulations, the Central Disciplinary Committee decided to issue a Warning to Mr. Le Tan Dung and Mr. Doan Mau Diep.

Also at this meeting, the Central Disciplinary Committee reviewed and resolved one complaint; resolved one appeal against Party disciplinary action; and decided on several other important matters.
