The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged and highly appreciated Hue City Rehabilitation Hospital for promptly evacuating 27 patients from facility 2 (No. 30 To Hien Thanh, Phu Xuan ward) to facility 1 (No. 93 Dang Huy Tru, Thuan Hoa ward) right at the time of rising flood waters.

He requested that local authorities and the health sector continue to ensure absolute safety for inpatients, not allowing any patients to be left in dangerous areas.

The Hue City health sector needs to maintain continuous, uninterrupted rehabilitation treatment even in natural disaster conditions; at the same time, pay attention to rest, nutrition, and protection for medical staff, especially those whose families are in flooded areas.

Previously, on the evening of October 28, a Government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha inspected and worked with key leaders of Hue city on flood response and recovery work.
