In this training session, the U22 Vietnam team is expected to call up about 26 players.

Immediately after the tournament in China, U22 Vietnam entered the next training session from November 23 to December 19. This is also considered the rehearsal period before the 33rd SEA Games. The team trained in Vung Tau from November 23 to 29, then moved to Ho Chi Minh City and left for Thailand on December 2 to attend the SEA Games.

At the 33rd SEA Games, men's football has 10 participating teams, divided into 3 groups: Group A and B have 3 teams each, Group C has 4 teams. The teams compete in a round robin to calculate points; the three group winners and the second-placed team with the best record will advance to the semi-finals.

According to the schedule, the group stage will take place from December 3 to December 12, the semi-finals on December 15 and the bronze medal matches and the final on December 18, 2025. Three stadiums have been selected to host the tournament, including Rajamangala (Bangkok), Tinsulanonda (Songkhla) and 700th Anniversary of Chiangmai (Chiangmai), with Rajamangala hosting the semi-finals and finals.

In the group stage, U22 Vietnam will meet U22 Laos on December 5 and U22 Malaysia on December 11, 2025. Both matches will take place at the 700th Anniversary Stadium, Chiangmai.
