Many hot issues in the socio -economic picture were mentioned by National Assembly delegate Ha Sy Dong (former Acting Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province) in his speech at the hall on the afternoon of October 29, when discussing this content.
Acknowledging many outstanding achievements in socio-economic development this year and the entire 5-year period of 2021-2025, what makes Mr. Dong worried is that looking back at the entire term, even the last 2-3 terms, there are issues that have been discussed over and over again but there seems to be no significant improvement.
As an example, he mentioned the real estate market with skyrocketing house prices. The audit report of the Economic and Financial Committee showed that real estate prices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City increased rapidly, ranking in the top 8 out of 220 major cities in the world in terms of real estate cost compared to income.

According to Mr. Dong, it would take an average income earner over 30 years to be able to buy a house at an average price in these two cities.
Or the gold market, the National Assembly also said that 2-3 terms ago but until now it is still very complicated, causing risks to financial and monetary stability.
Another example that also surprised and upset delegate Ha Sy Dong was that in Hanoi, people were required to provide copies of their Land Use Rights Certificate and Citizen Identification Card, otherwise, "their rights will not be resolved".
“I find it quite confusing. Identity cards or land use right certificates are all documents issued by the State to the people, and are all available on the system of State agencies. Yet, there are still people who have to go to each house to hand out information collection forms. If people comply, it will be time-consuming and they will worry about storing and using these very important personal documents. But if they do not comply, they will worry about being made difficult,” said a delegate from Quang Tri province.

Authorities explained the reason why people need to submit copies of their red books to clean up national land data, because many land users arbitrarily change the purpose, transact land and assets attached to land with handwritten documents, without establishing inheritance rights... leading to some cases of incorrect and inconsistent information and data.
If so, according to Mr. Dong, it is necessary to propagate for those in this situation to provide information and guide them to complete the procedures according to regulations instead of requiring all households to submit related documents.
Cleaning up land data is essential, but the way it is done, especially the way it is explained to the people, needs to be reviewed, according to delegate Ha Sy Dong.
In addition, supporting the viewpoint of delegate Tran Quoc Tuan of Vinh Long delegation, Mr. Dong said that in this session, the Government should have a report on the current situation of surplus and shortage of commune officials as well as inadequacies in mechanisms and policies for the National Assembly to consider and issue resolutions to resolve.
