Attacked by wild monkeys, a young girl was hospitalized with multiple injuries to her face and head.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - While playing in her yard, an 8-year-old girl residing in Quang Tri province was attacked by a wild monkey, sustaining multiple injuries to her face and head.

On December 14th, Quang Binh Friendship Hospital in Quang Tri province announced that it had treated the wounds of a child who was attacked by a wild monkey.

The child patient, LQN (born in 2018, residing in Ba Don ward, Quang Tri province), was admitted to the hospital with multiple injuries to the face and head.

Upon examination, doctors noted that N. had a wound on the right cheek, a 2x3cm skin defect, and bruising around it. The scalp in the occipital region also had multiple bleeding wounds.

The child's facial wounds were treated by surgeons, and he was given antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, painkillers, and prescribed tetanus and rabies vaccinations.

According to relatives of child N., on December 13th, while playing in the yard, the child was attacked by a monkey. This wild monkey, which lives in the rocky mountains near N.'s house, had previously injured four other people.
