Attending were 321 delegates representing the patriotic emulation movement in all fields of Thanh Hoa province.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan commended and congratulated the important achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Thanh Hoa province in the past term; congratulated the collectives, individuals and typical examples in the patriotic emulation movement of the province in the period of 2020-2025.

The Vice President emphasized that Thanh Hoa province, with its potential, advantages and achievements, is facing a great opportunity to become a leading and model province of the whole country, aiming to become a rich, beautiful, civilized and happy province by 2045 as desired by the Party, the State and the goal set by the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

To achieve this goal, the Party Committee, government, army and people of Thanh Hoa province need to promote the heroic tradition and the results and achievements; overcome limitations and weaknesses; draw profound lessons in the work of building the Party and the political system, in the work of state management in sensitive and complicated areas; overcome the difficulties and challenges ahead; join hands to continue to develop Thanh Hoa rapidly and sustainably.

According to Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Thanh Hoa needs to continue to strongly innovate emulation and reward work in a serious, substantive, effective and productive manner.

In particular, the emulation movement must become an important source of spiritual motivation, strengthening confidence, promoting pride, aspiration for development, and arousing the good values of Thanh people. These are patriotism, revolution, steadfastness, diligence, creativity, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common cause; making worthy contributions to the development of the homeland and the country.

Reward work needs to be comprehensively reformed, ensuring timeliness, fairness, substance, exemplary value and widespread dissemination in society.

Each form of reward is not only to recognize achievements but also to honor the spirit of dedication, innovation, creativity and sense of serving the community. The province needs to pay more attention to the grassroots, mountainous areas, ethnic minority areas and the forces directly working and fighting; promote propaganda work, replicate typical examples, and create a widespread spread in society.

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province Nguyen Hoai Anh emphasized that the 11th Patriotic Emulation Congress of Thanh Hoa province, period 2025-2030 is an important political event, of profound significance, affirming the development of the local patriotic emulation movement in the past 5 years. This is a great festival, a place to honor advanced models, good people, good deeds, the most beautiful flowers in the patriotic emulation flower garden, selected from advanced typical conferences in sectors, localities and units in the area.

The Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Thanh Hoa province will continue to join hands, spread the spirit of patriotic emulation, firmly light the way, arouse and foster the tradition of solidarity, creativity, perseverance, strive to overcome difficulties, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; build a rich, beautiful, civilized province, becoming a "model province" as beloved Uncle Ho always wished.

The Congress followed the report on the results of the patriotic emulation movement and the commendation work of Thanh Hoa province in the period of 2020-2025; highly agreed with the assessment of the achieved results, shortcomings, limitations, causes and lessons learned in the leadership, direction and implementation of the patriotic emulation movement and commendation work in the past time; agreed with the directions and tasks in the coming period...

During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee and the government of Thanh Hoa province have made efforts to overcome difficulties and achieved many important results. The average economic growth in the 2021-2025 period is estimated at 10.24%, ranking 4th in the country (among the 8 localities with the largest economic scale in the country).

Over the past 5 years, emulation movements in Thanh Hoa have been widely and creatively deployed, becoming increasingly substantive, becoming an important driving force to promote comprehensive development in all fields.

The commendation work continues to be innovated, timely, with the right people, the right work, with encouraging, spreading and exemplary impacts. During the term, the province was honored to have 1 collective awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces; 1 collective awarded the title of Hero of Labor; more than 170 collectives and individuals were awarded medals; more than 450 collectives and individuals were awarded the Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister along with other forms of commendation.

Previously, on October 28, at the preparatory session, with high consensus, 100% of delegates voted to approve the list of 34 delegates to attend the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress. The Congress awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to typical and advanced collectives and individuals in the period 2020-2025.
