The 9th Congress of the Youth Union of the Office of the President, term 2025-2027

On the afternoon of October 22, the Youth Union of the Office of the President successfully organized the 9th Congress of the Youth Union of the Office of the President, term 2025 - 2027. Attending were comrade Nguyen Dung Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Office of the President, Assistant to the Vice President; comrade Nguyen Xuan Khoi, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Party agencies; representatives of the Youth Union of the Central Party Office, the Government Office, the National Assembly Office and a large number of union members and youth of the Office of the President.

At the Congress, after listening to the Summary Report on the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement for the 2022-2025 term and the direction of activities for the 2025-2027 term, the Executive Committee of the Office Youth Union received opinions, listened to presentations and discussed the content of the report, pointed out the shortcomings, difficulties and obstacles in the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the past term, and at the same time had specific proposals and directions to effectively implement the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement for the 2025-2027 term.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Dung Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Office of the President , acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Office's Youth Union in the past term; the spirit of solidarity and creativity of the agency's youth and emphasized the task of building a truly strong youth union with a strong desire to contribute.

He suggested that the Youth Union continue to thoroughly grasp and concretize the resolutions of the Party and the Union, especially the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and seven strategic resolutions; implement them in line with practice, avoid formalities, so that each activity brings practical value to the agency and union members.

Emphasizing the key role of union cadres, he requested the Office Youth Union to proactively prepare a successor team with "enough heart and enough capacity", while creating an environment for union members to promote their professional capacity, participate more deeply in consulting work, research and innovate working methods.

Comrade Nguyen Dung Tien also encouraged the Office's youth to take the lead in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation, considering this an inevitable development direction to improve work efficiency and advisory capacity. Initiatives and proposals from union members need to be specified, with clear addresses and goals to be considered and supported for implementation.

Expressing his belief in the young generation of the Office, he believed that with the direction of the Party Committee and the pioneering and creative spirit of the union members, the work of the Union and the youth movement of the Office of the President will continue to flourish, making practical contributions to the political tasks of the agency.

The Congress also heard instructions from Comrade Nguyen Xuan Khoi, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Party Agencies; acknowledging the achievements in the 2022-2025 term, he said that although the Youth Union members of the Office of the President still have to spend most of their time on professional and technical work, they still ensure to implement and respond to the activities of the Youth Union of the Central Party Agencies. In the 2025-2027 term, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Khoi expressed his hope that the Youth Union of the Office of the President should continue to promote the spirit of vanguard and aspirations of the youth, contributing to building an increasingly strong and modern agency.

In the spirit of urgent, democratic and serious work, in accordance with the regulations of the Youth Union Charter and the direction of superiors, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the Office of the President for the 2025-2027 term, consisting of 5 comrades. Comrade Vu Tuan Linh continued to be elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the Office of the President for the 2025-2027 term.
