Phu Luong Ward: Timely resolve legitimate petitions of the People

HNP - On October 29, Phu Luong Ward Party Committee organized a conference to meet and directly dialogue between the heads of local Party committees and authorities with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the people.

At the Conference, representatives of the Ward People's Committee reported on the results of socio- economic development, national defense and security in the past 10 months, and the key directions and tasks for the last two months of 2025. Most delegates highly appreciated the determination and timeliness of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of the ward in leading and directing the implementation of tasks, especially after implementing the two-level local government model to operate smoothly and effectively.

Through synthesizing people's opinions before the dialogue conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward received 52 opinions in various fields. At the conference, 13 delegates continued to express their opinions and recommendations, focusing on practical issues that directly affect people's lives in the fields of administrative reform, urban order management, environmental sanitation, security and order, traffic safety, improving the quality of life in residential groups, urban planning, building a civilized urban lifestyle...

People's representative speaks at the Conference

In particular, the delegates of the residential groups gave their opinions on the work of granting land use right certificates, the progress of removing obstacles in the allocation of service land; the settlement of administrative procedures in the land sector, and the collection of certification fees. Many delegates suggested that the ward organize the dredging of the drainage system in residential areas; install new, replace, and repair the lighting system on the roads; upgrade the first section of the 18.5m road to avoid flooding and ensure traffic safety; and propose to build more cultural houses and community activity houses in the Dong Danh and Dong Coc areas.

Delegates also requested the ward to strengthen the handling of violations of urban order, public order, and traffic safety violations on a number of roads in the area.

At the Conference, in the spirit of frankness and openness, representatives of the ward's departments and branches directly discussed and specifically answered the opinions and recommendations of representatives of residential groups.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Luong Manh Son - Party Secretary, Chairman of Phu Luong Ward People's Council thanked the delegates for their feedback and recommendations and directed the Ward People's Committee, relevant departments, offices and units to focus on resolving issues within their authority; for issues that are not within their authority, they will recommend that the competent authorities consider and resolve them.

The Party Secretary requested the Party Committee Office to coordinate with the Office of the People's Council and the People's Committee of the ward to synthesize opinions and recommendations, and advise agencies and units to focus on resolving them. At the same time, the People's Committee of the ward was assigned to direct the timely and effective resolution of legitimate recommendations from the people, develop an implementation plan; in which, the roadmap and implementation plan must be clear, and the responsibilities of each department, office, and unit must be specifically assigned. Urgent issues must be prioritized, implementation progress must be urged, and the results must be periodically reported to the Standing Party Committee and publicly informed to the people for information and supervision.

For Party committees and organizations at all levels, it is necessary to well implement the Grassroots Democracy Regulations, pay attention to listening to and seriously absorbing the reflections and recommendations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio- political organizations and the people, especially on pressing people's issues to reflect and propose to the leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of the ward in order to promptly have satisfactory solutions.
