At Residential Group 9 Thuy Phu (Phu Bai Ward) - one of the areas heavily affected by heavy rain and prolonged flooding in recent days, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan - Member of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council visited, encouraged and gave gifts to the people.
In the places he visited, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan visited and shared difficulties with households affected by floods, especially those in difficult circumstances and lonely elderly people.
Recognizing the proactiveness and efforts of local authorities and functional forces in the work of prevention, response, and ensuring safety for people, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan requested that the locality continue to review and provide timely support, not allowing any household to go hungry or be in danger during the complicated period of floods.

Thanh Thuy is also one of the localities heavily affected by floods with more than 3,100 people flooded. To promptly support the people, the ward leaders went to low-lying, isolated areas in the area to visit, encourage and give support with necessities such as instant noodles, milk, drinking water, lunch boxes... to households that were deeply flooded.
In addition to local reserves, previously (on the evening of October 28), the ward received 600 boxes of instant noodles, 100 boxes of milk, 50 boxes of mineral water, 300 meals, 200 life jackets, 200 life buoys and 5 tons of rice supported by the city to quickly deliver to people in flooded areas.

In Hoa Chau Ward, the Ward People's Committee coordinated with the Charity Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hue City to organize the giving of 500 gifts including water, milk, cakes and instant noodles to support people severely affected by flooding in the area.
Mr. Vo Viet Duc - Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee said that the local government will continue to mobilize and connect charitable organizations and individuals to join hands to support households that have suffered heavy losses, especially poor and near-poor households, lonely elderly people and students with difficult circumstances...

In Phong Phu Ward, after checking the situation, ward leaders and functional forces presented 100 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, sponsored by Khong Trung Dao Trang and Anh Sang Tu Bi Club ( Ho Chi Minh City) to poor households affected by floods, and the remaining 200 gifts will be presented in the next batch.
Also on October 29, Phong Phu Ward People's Committee received 5 tons of rice support from the City People's Committee to distribute to affected households.

Joining hands to share difficulties, the Women's Union of Thuan An Ward mobilized members to cook 400 meals and drinks to send to Hue Central Hospital and Hue Mental Hospital - where many patients and their families are facing many difficulties due to floods.
On the same day, Phat Thien Tam Association (Thuan An Ward) also organized cooking and giving 1,500 meals to people in low-lying and deeply flooded areas. The meals carried the warmth of love and affection, helping people to be more steadfast in overcoming difficulties during the flood.

During the recent days of floods, Phat Quang Pagoda (Thuan Hoa Ward) mobilized human resources and prepared food to maintain charity meals to send to people in difficult circumstances in flooded areas.
The “charity kitchen” at the pagoda operates continuously with 3 meals a day. In the morning, it is noodle rolls or instant noodles, and at noon and in the evening, it serves about 1,000 hot meals to the people,” said Venerable Thich Thien Thanh - Abbot of Phat Quang Pagoda.
Together with Phat Quang Pagoda, Thuan Hoa Ward Police continued to coordinate with relief groups and benefactors to visit, encourage and give more than 1,000 bottles of mineral water, 350 boxes of instant noodles and many other foods to the people.

During the period of prolonged heavy rain and rising floodwaters that caused deep inundation on many roads, the Phu Xuan Ward Police force promptly transported 200 boxes of instant noodles, supported by benefactors, to about 300 students staying at the Hue University dormitory in the ward, along with many students renting rooms and households lacking food.
Although the activities took place in heavy rain, deep flooding, and traffic disruption, the ward police force still made efforts to overcome difficulties and bring necessities to the people and students.

After 3 days of high water, unable to cross the stream to trade and exchange, completely isolated, households on the other side of the stream ran out of food, Hong Van Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities to find a way to stretch ropes across the stream, transfer 200 kg of rice, 10 boxes of instant noodles and 3 boxes of milk, to supply the people of Ta Lo A Ho village (A Luoi 1 commune) isolated by the flood.
Ta Lo A Ho village has 26 households and 107 people, living on both sides of the stream flowing through the area. "In the coming days, the unit will continue to update the situation and provide timely support so that people do not lack food if the water level continues to rise and has not yet subsided," said Lieutenant Colonel Ho Van Ha.
On the same afternoon, the City Border Guard Command received 5,000 kg of relief rice from the Prime Minister and delivered it to the people of Hoi Dua, An Cu Dong 1, Hai Van, An Cu Tay, and Lap An villages of Chan May - Lang Co commune.
