Ho Chi Minh City: Received more than 174.5 billion VND to support people affected by storms and floods

On October 29, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City announced that as of October 28, the Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee had received more than 14,000 donations totaling more than VND174.5 billion.

In addition, the City Relief Committee received more than 10,000 family medicine bags, 50 tons of rice, 70 tons of essential goods and personal items, with a total value of more than 5 billion VND, and promptly distributed them to provinces affected by storms and floods.

At the reception on October 29, the City Relief Mobilization Committee received 27 units, businesses, organizations, and individuals registering and supporting with a total amount of money and goods of more than 7.4 billion VND. copper and 50,000 USD, in which, goods worth more than 2 billion VND.

The Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee organized working groups to directly visit and give gifts, and at the same time, distributed 7 batches of funds and 4 batches of support goods to provinces and cities that suffered heavy damage caused by storms and floods, with a total support value of more than 112.3 billion VND, to share in a timely manner, help people overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and restore production.
