The Logistics Department of Hue City Police promptly deployed forces, provided drinking water, instant noodles and some essential necessities, helping tourists and students temporarily stabilize their lives while waiting for the flood to recede.

Meanwhile, the police of Thuan Hoa ward, Hue city promptly assisted two French tourists and a tour guide who were stranded on Phan Chu Trinh street, Hue city, to a safe place to stay.
On the morning of October 28, the Thuan Hoa Ward Police, Hue City provided essential food to two Australian tourists with broken arms. Before that, as soon as they received information requesting support during the flood on October 27, officers and soldiers of the Thuan Hoa Ward Police quickly arrived at the Mondial Hotel (Nguyen Hue Street, Thuan Hoa Ward), taking the foreign tourists with broken arms to the hospital for treatment.


On the morning of October 28, Phu Vang Commune Police came to encourage and support the households in Cong Quan area, Phu Vang Commune - an isolated area due to prolonged heavy rain and rising floodwaters. Here, the delegation presented instant noodles, drinking water and other essential necessities, and at the same time grasped the living conditions of the people, promptly supported and instructed on safety measures while the water was still deep.
On the same morning, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Hue City Police mobilized forces and specialized vehicles to support water pumping in Kim Dong Park (Hue City) after prolonged heavy rain caused deep flooding in this area. At the same time, they continued to coordinate with functional forces to proactively deploy response measures and support drainage in heavily flooded areas, contributing to overcoming the consequences of floods and soon stabilizing people's lives.


On the morning of October 28, the Hue City Civil Defense Command said that the flood on the Huong River and Bo River is still at level 3, and the flood is receding slowly. Currently, the center of Hue City and low-lying wards and communes in the suburbs continue to be flooded.
According to the forecast of the Hue City Hydrometeorological Station, from the morning of October 28 to the morning of October 30, there will be heavy to very heavy rain in Hue City. The total rainfall in the plains is generally 150 - 300mm, in some places over 400mm; in the mountainous areas 200 - 400mm, in some places over 600mm.
In the next 12 hours, the flood on the rivers will continue to slowly recede, but the Huong River will still be at a very high level, above alert level 3, and the Bo River will fluctuate approximately at alert level 3. In the next 12 - 24 hours, the flood on the rivers will continue to slowly recede, with the Huong River dropping to alert level 2 to alert level 3, and the Bo River above alert level 2.
