Gia Lai: Inauguration of 5.2km long solar street light system

On October 28, Economic - Defense Group 75 (Army Corps 15, Ministry of National Defense) held the inauguration and handover of the Sao Sang Buon Lang project with a cluster of solar-powered lighting lines to the people of Neh and Al Gon villages (Ia Krel commune, Gia Lai province).

The project is 5.2km long, with 170 solar LED lights installed on 5 main and branch roads, passing through residential areas, schools, and community centers, with a total value of more than 427 million VND, serving 692 households with nearly 2,720 people.

On the same day, Economic - Defense Group 75 presented 51 breeding cows to 51 poor and near-poor households of ethnic minorities in 10 villages and hamlets in Ia Krel and Duc Co communes (Gia Lai province).

Colonel Khuat Ba Cao, Party Secretary, Deputy Commander of Army Corps 15, requested that Economic - Defense Group 75 continue to closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to provide technical guidance, inspect the care and breeding, ensure the breeding herd develops well, bringing practical economic efficiency; at the same time, encourage households to promote the spirit of self-reliance, actively work in production, consider the cows supported today as "fishing rods for livelihood", as a driving force to rise up and escape poverty sustainably, contributing to building increasingly prosperous villages.
