Focus on emergency response and overcoming consequences of heavy rain and floods in the Central region

The Prime Minister requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities in the Central region to resolutely and effectively direct the work of preventing, avoiding, and responding to heavy rains, floods, flash floods, and landslides.

The Prime Minister has just issued Official Dispatch No. 203/CD-TTg dated October 27, 2025, directing the focus on emergency response and overcoming the consequences of heavy rains and floods in the Central region.

To proactively prevent, avoid, respond, ensure safety of people's lives, minimize damage to people and property, the Prime Minister requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities: Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai and the Ministries: National Defense, Public Security, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Industry and Trade and relevant ministries and branches to focus on directing resolutely and effectively the work of preventing, avoiding, and responding to heavy rains, floods, flash floods, landslides.
