• Determined to improve the quality of health care for the people
  • Grassroots health stations must be the front line of people's health care.
  • Concentrating resources for people's health according to Resolution 72

After its establishment, Dat Mui Commune Health Station quickly stabilized its organization and went into operation, with 15 staff, including 5 doctors, including 1 main point and 1 station point. However, the unit is currently facing many difficulties in terms of facilities, specialized medical equipment, along with a shortage of professional human resources. The station representative proposed to be supported in upgrading infrastructure, equipping modern machinery, and at the same time having a mechanism for recruiting, training, and professional development for the medical team and doctors. The locality also proposed to build a medical facility with a scale and capacity commensurate with the position of a dynamic urban area in the southernmost region of the country, meeting the needs of medical examination, treatment and health care for people and tourists.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu requested Dat Mui commune to continue to do a good job in protecting and taking care of people's health, especially improving the efficiency of the commune health station.

Acknowledging the efforts of the grassroots health care system in Dat Mui commune , comrade Pham Van Thieu said that the difficulties and recommendations of the locality have many similarities with Tan Loc commune, the unit inspected by the delegation in the morning of the same day. This shows that the common, systemic problems of the grassroots health care network need to be resolved soon.

Deputy Director of the Department of Health Tran Quang Khoa said that up to now, the Ministry of Health has not yet issued a document regulating the tasks and functions of health stations when implementing the new organizational model.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu emphasized that the province's grassroots health system is facing difficulties in terms of operating model, mechanism, infrastructure and human resources. In the immediate future, localities, health sectors and relevant agencies need to proactively coordinate and gradually resolve difficulties within their scope and authority, ensuring stable and effective operation of health stations.

Dat Mui Commune Health Station still faces difficulties in facilities.

In the spirit of Resolution 72 of the Politburo on breakthrough solutions in protecting, caring for and improving people's health, the role of health stations is the frontline, the core of the health system. Comrade Pham Van Thieu said that Ca Mau province will closely follow the spirit of Resolution 72, focusing resources on investing, upgrading and perfecting the grassroots health system in a synchronous and modern direction, meeting the needs of people's health care in the new situation.

Comrade Pham Van Thieu and the working delegation directly inspected and surveyed the activities of the Dat Mui Commune Public Administration Service Center.

During the working trip, Comrade Pham Van Thieu also inspected the activities at the Dat Mui Commune Public Administration Service Center, praising the spirit, efforts and initial results of the two-level local government apparatus. He requested the locality to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, accelerating digital transformation, applying information technology, and innovating in management, in order to improve the efficiency of serving the people and meeting the requirements of the tasks in the two-level local government model.

The digital technology guidance team at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Dat Mui commune, led by union members, supports people coming to do administrative procedures.
