The family of Mr. Nguyen Van Chanh (Binh Le hamlet) - a relative who worships martyrs, has had many difficulties with housing. For many years, his family had to live temporarily in a dilapidated, dilapidated thatched house. Although not in a very difficult situation, building a solid house to enjoy old age was beyond their ability.

Implementing the housing support project for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives, Mr. Chanh's family was considered for support to build a new house. In April 2025, the solid and spacious house was completed, bringing joy and warmth to the family thanks to the attention of the Party, State and local authorities.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chanh and his wife cleaned and decorated their new house.

“In the past time, my family has enjoyed full benefits and care policies from the Party and the State, and now we have been supported with a new house and a proper place to worship martyrs. This is a great encouragement for my wife and I to try to make a living and stabilize our lives,” Mr. Chanh confided.

Vinh Phuoc commune currently has more than 700 policy families . Clearly defining political responsibility for people with merit, the commune considers housing care for policy beneficiaries an important task. Through each stage, housing support policies are implemented synchronously, promptly and effectively.

Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuoc Commune People's Committee, said: "Implementing the housing construction program for people with meritorious services and relatives of martyrs, the commune supports the construction and repair costs for 79 policy families. In addition to the general support level, depending on the actual situation, the commune also mobilizes social resources to increase the cost of house construction."

Local authorities visited Mr. Nguyen Van Chanh's family life.

Also according to Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, during the implementation process, households facing economic difficulties, being single, elderly, or weak were supported with working days by organizations, unions, armed forces, and people, helping to complete the projects with quality and on schedule. Up to now, the lives of policy families in the area are basically at an average level or higher compared to the general level.

Each house built is not only a shelter from the rain and sun, but also a symbol of gratitude to those who have devoted and sacrificed for the Fatherland, a continuation of the precious tradition of remembering the source of drinking water between generations. At the same time, it is also a source of encouragement and motivation for families with meritorious services to strive to rise up, join hands to build the homeland of Vinh Phuoc to become more and more innovative and prosperous.
