The 6th Congress of Delegates of PTSC Marine Mechanical Services Company Union, term 2025 - 2030

On October 22, 2025, at the PTSC Petroleum Hotel Hall, the Congress of Trade Union Delegates of PTSC Marine Mechanical Services Company (PTSC M&C) for the 2025-2030 term took place in a solemn, democratic and united atmosphere. The Congress is an important political event, marking a new development step of the Trade Union organization in the journey of accompanying the Company's rapid and sustainable development.

The Congress was honored to welcome Comrade Nguyen Tran Toan - Chairman of the Trade Union of PTSC Corporation (Former Party Secretary, Chairman, Director of PTSC M&C Company); Comrade To Ngoc Tu - Party Secretary, Director of the Company; Comrade Luu Duc Hoang - Chairman of the Company; comrades representing the Boards of the Trade Union of the Corporation, the Board of Directors - Heads of departments/project boards and political - social organizations and 84 outstanding delegates, representing 1,720 union members and employees of the Company.

Opening the congress, comrade Pham Van Chuan - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union emphasized the importance of this Congress. Although the Trade Union has performed its tasks very well and exceeded many targets in the Resolution of the previous Congress, however, with increasingly high requirements for development, it is required that the Trade Union must also be streamlined, continue to innovate both in thinking and working methods, continue to be a bridge connecting workers with the Company; identify "people as the center, culture as the foundation and responsibility to the community as the mission". Therefore, in addition to accompanying the Company's Board of Directors to promote production and business, apply new science and technology and digital transformation in all activities... the Trade Union must also focus on building a safe, professional and humane working environment.

Reporting on the implementation results of the Resolution of the Congress of the last term, the Company's Trade Union has made continuous efforts to take care of the material and spiritual life of workers, promote production emulation movements, ensure safety - quality - progress in all key projects. Typically, from 2023 to now, the projects have been implemented with very good results, contributing to the achievement of more than 26.95 million safe working hours, ensuring income and social welfare for workers each year higher than the previous year. In addition, workers are arranged to participate in internal training courses, advanced training in both professional and soft skills and a full cultural, artistic, sports and recreational environment, helping to comprehensively develop each individual.

To meet the requirements of innovation and keep up with the general development, the Congress has proposed 06 directions, 08 main targets and 04 groups of solutions to strengthen the Trade Union organization in the direction of becoming more and more stable, the activities are more and more innovative, in-depth, practical and have a wider spread. In particular, special emphasis is placed on closely following the contents of the instructions of the Party Committee and the Company's Board of Directors to always be unified in policies and improve the effectiveness of coordination with political and social organizations, departments/project boards in the Company, creating a common great solidarity bloc in the spirit of "one team - one goal".

With enthusiasm and determination to build an increasingly strong Trade Union organization, aiming for more and more meaningful and practical activities, the Congress was really exciting when delegates attending the Congress frankly exchanged and contributed ideas on many fields from production and business to welfare regimes and physical and spiritual life for workers.

Following the formation, development and always accompanying the Trade Union movement activities of the Company, Comrade Nguyen Tran Toan - Member of the Executive Committee of Petrovietnam Trade Union, Chairman of PTSC Corporation Trade Union - acknowledged and praised the efforts and achievements. He expressed his confidence in the Company's Trade Union organization in the coming period, especially when there is always close direction and support in all aspects of the Company's Party Committee/Board of Directors. He also shared the importance of doing a good job of propaganda and education so that workers can clearly understand and share with the Board of Directors, then all difficulties will be overcome to achieve even greater achievements.

The Congress also listened to the instructions and sharing of comrade To Ngoc Tu - Party Secretary, Director of the Company - on the development orientation, requirements and specific tasks assigned to the Trade Union organization in the coming time. He especially emphasized the importance of building and developing Corporate Culture, which needs to be based on the values: Trust - Responsibility - Solidarity - Professionalism, continuing to invest in development, considering innovation, improving labor productivity, increasing the efficiency of production and business activities, ensuring jobs and improving the lives of workers.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 13 outstanding cadres in terms of capacity, prestige and sense of responsibility, promising to bring a new dynamic, creative and effective term. The Congress also elected a delegation to attend the Congress of Trade Union of PTSC Corporation for the 2025-2030 term to bring the enthusiasm and voice of PTSC M&C workers to contribute to the overall development of PTSC Corporation.
