The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Association of Veterans of Phuoc An Commune with the motto "Loyalty - Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation"

(CTT-Dong Nai) - On October 28, the Veterans Association of Phuoc An commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the Congress were more than 90 official delegates, representing 265 Veterans Association members in the entire commune.

Leaders of the Provincial Veterans Association and the Commune Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the Phuoc An Commune Veterans Association, term I, 2025 - 2030.

During the 2022-2025 term, under the leadership of the Party Committee and the Association at higher levels, the Association of War Veterans in Phuoc An commune has united, proactively overcome difficulties, and achieved many comprehensive results in all fields. The movement of war veterans helping each other develop the economy and sustainably reduce poverty continues to be effective. The Association has established a War Veterans Club to do business, helping members share experiences and link production; to date, there are no poor or near-poor members. The Association is managing 7 groups borrowing capital from the Social Policy Bank with a total outstanding debt of more than 11.8 billion VND, with no overdue debt. The work of solidarity is focused on, the Association has mobilized the construction of 02 houses and repaired 3 "Comradeship" houses, contributing to practically caring for the lives of members. At the same time, the Association closely coordinated with the Youth Union and schools to organize 18 traditional talks for 33,000 students and 48 sessions for 1,500 youth union members, contributing to educating patriotism and national pride for the young generation.
With the theme "Promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers; the tradition of Loyalty - Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation", the Congress discussed and agreed on the goals and targets for the 2025-2030 term, in which it strives to: 100% of members are steadfast and firm in politics and ideology; Membership development rate reaches 98% or more compared to the source; Gathering over 85% of local veterans to participate in the Veterans Club; Maintaining no households falling back into poverty, no overdue loans;...
The congress announced the decision to appoint 13 members to the Executive Committee of the new Commune Veterans Association, including Mr. Bui Xuan Canh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Commune, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Phuoc An Commune Veterans Association. On this occasion, the Phuoc An Commune Veterans Association presented 12 gifts to children of members in difficult circumstances, who study well and live well.
