Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Do Van Chien, suggested that Bac Ninh should train a team of cadres who are courageous, professionally competent, close to the people, and proactive in serving the people, especially the cadres at the commune level.

On October 28-29, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Ninh province held its first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, attended and spoke at the congress.

With the theme "Unity - Democracy - Innovation - Development," the First Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Ninh province, for the term 2025-2030, sets forth the requirement to enhance the core political role of the Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations; innovate the content and methods of operation; promote democracy and the strength of national unity, contributing to building Bac Ninh province into a centrally-governed city before 2030.

The Congress announced and launched the new Bac Ninh Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; and elected a delegation to attend the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, a member of the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, was elected by consensus to hold the position of Chairperson of the new Bac Ninh Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Delivering a keynote address at the congress, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Do Van Chien, acknowledged and praised the remarkable achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Ninh province in the recent past, as well as the successful implementation of key tasks by the Bac Ninh Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

In this context, we must continue to promote the spirit of national unity, building a country that is increasingly prosperous and happy. We must thoroughly understand the Party's principles and viewpoints: the people are the foundation, the center, the subject, the goal, and the driving force of reform.

The broad mobilization of workers, farmers, youth, intellectuals, women, veterans, former police officers, entrepreneurs, ethnic minorities, religious communities, and people from Bac Ninh living outside the province contributes their intellect and efforts to building a prosperous, civilized, modern, and distinctive Bac Ninh province, striving to make Bac Ninh a centrally-governed city before 2030. By 2045, it aims to be a green, civilized, and modern city.

Strengthening historical education , fostering pride, a spirit of striving, patriotism, and unity among all strata of the people of Bac Ninh province. Promoting democracy and social consensus, consolidating the people's trust in Party committees and government at all levels, and boosting patriotic emulation movements to build united, prosperous, and happy residential areas.

Improve the quality of supervision and social criticism, and actively participate in building a clean and strong Party, government, and political system.

Proactively propose and coordinate the resolution of complex issues arising in practice, organize social dialogues, organize months of listening to the people's voices, and actively participate in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative practices. Coordinate the supervision of the activities of the government, Party members, and leaders, ensuring transparency, openness, and effectiveness.

Promote patriotic emulation campaigns and movements among all strata of the people, focusing on mobilizing the entire population to unite in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; the nationwide campaign to help the poor and ensure no one is left behind; the campaign for Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods; the popular literacy movement; and the nationwide movement to build a comprehensive and modern infrastructure.

Actively innovate the content and methods of the Front's activities, focusing on training, nurturing, and developing a team of cadres with strong character, professional expertise, close to the people, and proactively serving the people, especially cadres at the commune level. Effectively implement Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science and technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

Applying digital technology in all activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, especially in understanding the aspirations and concerns of the people, and conveying the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws to the people. Using digital technology to refute harmful and malicious information from hostile forces.

Chairman Do Van Chien also highlighted a very important task that the Bac Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front needs to implement well right from the beginning of its term: participating in organizing the election of National Assembly and People's Council representatives at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, according to the functions and duties of the Front as stipulated by law; selecting individuals with sufficient virtue, talent, and ability to shoulder the responsibility of representing the people; and organizing a safe, economical election that is truly a great festival for the entire nation.
