On the afternoon of May 29, 2026, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong chaired a conference with specialized units on digital transformation from ministries, sectors, and localities to discuss difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of information technology and digital transformation projects.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing the process of selecting technology solutions for digital transformation projects. Many opinions suggested that thorough evaluation through a panel of experts is necessary to ensure feasibility, effectiveness, and implementation capacity before making investment decisions.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong said that technology is changing very rapidly, while many investment and bidding processes remain traditional, making technology projects need a more practical approach.
