
The Vietnam-Singapore Tech Connect Forum attracted over 400 delegates from government agencies, research institutes, universities, businesses, and investment funds from both Vietnam and Singapore.
On May 29, 2026, in Singapore, within the framework of the visit and working trip of the high-level Vietnamese delegation led by General Secretary and President To Lam, the Vietnam-Singapore Tech Connect Forum took place with the participation of more than 400 delegates from management agencies, research institutes, universities, businesses and investment funds of both countries.
The forum, jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, aims to build a foundation for bilateral cooperation in the fields of science, technology, innovation, industrial transformation, and sustainable development.
At the forum, delegates focused on discussing policies for the development of science , technology, and innovation; connecting management agencies, research institutes, and universities with businesses; and promoting cooperation in research, technology transfer, and the implementation of joint projects between the two countries.
One of the key topics discussed was the "Three-Party" cooperation model between the State, research and training institutions, and businesses, aimed at shortening the gap from research to product commercialization, integrating technology into production, and creating economic value.
The forum also devoted significant time to activities connecting investment, business, and innovation, opening up new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), deeptech, advanced manufacturing, and the digital economy.
