Previously, the authorities received information about a young man who was swept away by the water while pulling a boat across the fields along the old Duong Thanh Street (Thanh Thuy Ward). Immediately after grasping the situation, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong was present at the scene to inspect and directly direct the rescue work.

The search area is still deeply flooded, causing many difficulties for the work of approaching and searching for victims. The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the functional forces to strengthen close coordination with local authorities, mobilize maximum human resources and means to speed up the search progress, while ensuring absolute safety for the rescue forces.
