
At approximately 10:30 PM on October 29th, at the Binh Long intersection (in Binh Son commune, Quang Ngai province), while a task force from Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police) was performing traffic control and flow management duties, they received a distress signal requesting emergency assistance.
Mr. THV and Ms. HTC, a couple residing in My Long Tay village, Binh Minh commune - currently the epicenter of flooding in Quang Ngai province - rushed to seek help from authorities, clutching their baby D. (born in 2025).
Baby D. developed a high fever, her health deteriorated, and she needed to be taken to the emergency room.
Immediately, the traffic police officers present at the scene used their patrol vehicle to quickly transport the mother and child to Binh Son Medical Center for emergency treatment.
Earlier, at 2:50 PM on October 29th, we received news that pregnant woman D.TH (residing in Da Ban village, Tra Giang commune) was showing signs of labor and needed to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Upon receiving the information, the leaders of Tra Giang commune mobilized the police force and local residents to approach the pregnant woman's house to provide assistance.
