The Prime Minister approved Mr. Phan Thien Dinh's appointment as Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City.

HNN.VN - On October 29, the Office of the People's Committee of Hue City announced that the Prime Minister had issued decisions approving the election and dismissal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City for the 2021-2026 term.

City leaders congratulate the new Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, Phan Thien Dinh, at the 27th Special Session of the 8th Hue City People's Council.

According to Decision No. 2403/QD-TTg dated October 29, 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Previously, on October 17th, the Hue City People's Council convened and elected Mr. Phan Thien Dinh as Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Phan Thien Dinh was born on December 10, 1971, in Thuan An Ward, Hue City. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics, a Bachelor's degree in Law, a Master's degree in Public Administration, and a Senior Certificate in Political Theory. Mr. Dinh has many years of experience in inspection, planning, and investment, having held important positions in the former Thua Thien Hue province, such as Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Council of the former Hue City.

On the same day, in Decision No. 2402/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City for the 2021-2026 term.

These decisions will take effect from October 29, 2025.
