City leaders congratulated the new Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thien Dinh at the 27th Special Session of the 8th Hue City People's Council

Pursuant to Decision No. 2403/QD-TTg dated October 29, 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Previously, on October 17, the People's Council of Hue city met and elected Mr. Phan Thien Dinh to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue city for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Phan Thien Dinh was born on December 10, 1971, hometown Thuan An ward, Hue city; has a Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Law, Master of Public Administration, Senior in Political Theory. Mr. Dinh has many years of working in the field of inspection, planning and investment, and has held important positions in Thua Thien Hue province (old) such as Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hue city (old).

On the same day, in Decision No. 2402/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the results of the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City for the 2021-2026 term.

The above decisions take effect from October 29, 2025.
