Focus on training human resources.

Recently, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Phuoc Vinh Market Women's Association, Thuan Hoa Ward Women's Union, was honored to join the ranks of the Party. Throughout her time participating in the association's work, Ms. Thanh Thuy has always strived for self-improvement, demonstrated responsibility in her activities, actively participated in local movements, and received support from the Thuan Hoa Ward Women's Union and the Phuoc Vinh Party Branch 7.

Sharing her thoughts after being admitted to the Party, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy said: “Being a member of the Party is a great honor for me. This is also a motivation for me to continue to train myself and contribute even more to the women's movement and the community where I live.”

According to Ms. Nguyen Le Van Anh, Vice President of the Women's Union of Thuan Hoa Ward, Ms. Thanh Thuy's admission to the Party is not only a source of personal pride but also a shared joy for the entire Women's Union of the ward, creating a positive ripple effect and promoting the women's movement to develop further.

In Dan Dien commune, Ms. Pham Thi Dung, Head of the Women's Association in Phu Le village, also had the honor of joining the Party. Ms. Dung's dedication and efforts have been highly appreciated by the Party branch and the commune Party committee for her moral character, competence, and sense of responsibility. As a dynamic and enthusiastic women's association official, after being admitted to the Party, Ms. Pham Thi Dung expressed her determination to continue to train, contribute, and help build a strong association, acting as a "leader" to gather and connect members, creating unity within the association.

Alongside membership development, women's unions at all levels pay special attention to training and developing the team of branch officials, the force directly organizing and leading movements at the grassroots level. Through training courses on union work, political theory, mass mobilization skills, and practical activities in residential areas, many branch officials have gradually affirmed their capabilities, qualities, and prestige, becoming a source of female cadres for the Party.

The process of reviewing and recommending outstanding members to the Party is carried out rigorously, linked to an assessment of their long-term dedication, sense of responsibility, and exemplary conduct in their work and community life. As a result, the number of women admitted to the Party from the women's movement is increasing, contributing to improving the quality of grassroots Party organizations and building stronger women's branches.

Innovate working methods

With the motto "Innovating the working methods of the association, focusing on the application of information technology" and "Working together to build strong women's branches and groups," the Women's Union at all levels has proactively reformed the content and methods of leadership and management to suit local realities.

Since then, a series of effective movements, models, and practical activities have been implemented, linked to the recruitment and development of members, such as: the "Building the Modern Hue Woman" emulation movement, associated with preserving traditional cultural identity; savings models and support for women starting businesses and developing family economies ; humanitarian activities, social welfare, and care for women and children in difficult circumstances; responding to local movements such as "Green Sunday," "Sunday for the Community," and building cultural life in residential areas...

During the past term, the Hue City Women's Union recruited 7,487 new members, bringing the total number of members citywide to 207,885 women, and admitted 85 honorary members. The Union focused on investing in equipment and facilities to support its activities on a digital platform. As a result, all full-time union officials are proficient in using basic software; 100% of branch leaders have improved their knowledge and skills in digital transformation.

Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Chairwoman of the Hue City Women's Union, affirmed: "Improving the quality and quantity of members while simultaneously creating a source for Party development is the right direction, clearly demonstrating the role of the Women's Union in participating in building the Party and government. From strong branches, a team of female cadres with sufficient dedication and competence will be formed, contributing to building an increasingly clean and strong grassroots political system."

Over the past five years, women's associations at all levels have recommended 453 outstanding female members to the Party for consideration; of which, 196 members have been admitted, contributing to affirming the role of the association in creating a source of female cadres for the Party.
