(GLO) - A delegation from the Barracks Department (General Department of Logistics and Technical Services) recently conducted a comprehensive inspection of barracks operations and preparations for the "Regular, Green, Clean, and Beautiful Barracks" competition for full-strength regiments at the Ministry of National Defense level in the 34th Army Corps.

The delegation conducted on-site inspections of the barracks system, environmental landscape, management and use of electricity and water, and hygiene of barracks and equipment; and assessed the results of establishing regular order in the management and operation of barracks at agencies and units under the 34th Army Corps.

The inspection revealed that the Party Committee and the Command of the 34th Army Corps have paid attention to leading and directing agencies and units to implement many comprehensive solutions to improve the quality of barracks work.

The housing system, workplaces, production areas, and unit grounds are scientifically planned, ensuring regularity and uniformity. The green, clean, and beautiful environmental landscape is regularly maintained; the system of billboards, slogans, and signs is reinforced and arranged according to regulations.

In preparation for the competition, the agencies and units of the 34th Army Corps proactively developed plans, organized training, and comprehensively consolidated all aspects according to the set criteria.

Many models and initiatives in building standardized barracks, managing equipment, saving electricity and water, and protecting the environment have been effectively implemented, contributing to improving the quality of life for soldiers.

In his concluding remarks after the inspection, Colonel Bui Xuan Ninh acknowledged and commended the outstanding results achieved by the 34th Army Corps in barracks management and competition preparation.

The Deputy Director of the Barracks Department also requested that agencies and units of the 34th Army Corps continue to review, supplement, and improve areas that are still lacking; strictly maintain regular discipline; improve the quality of barracks management and operation; and ensure good living, studying, and working conditions for soldiers.

Colonel Bui Xuan Ninh suggested that the 34th Army Corps organize the "Regular, Green, Clean, and Beautiful Barracks" competition well, aiming to contribute to improving the quality of barracks construction and creating positive changes in the awareness and responsibility of officers and soldiers in building bright, green, clean, and beautiful units, meeting the requirements of building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern army in the new situation.
