Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang, Deputy Director of Hue City Police, visited and encouraged Sergeant Phan Luong Hai.

Previously, on the night of October 27, while assisting people in evacuating from a deeply flooded area in the center of Hue City, Sergeant Phan Luong Hai and his teammates received an emergency order on Hung Vuong Street (Thuan Hoa Ward) where 4 people were trapped in a heavily flooded area.

Immediately, Sergeant Phan Luong Hai and his teammates crossed the flood to reach the scene. At around 0:30 on October 28, after reaching and taking 2 children and 1 adult out of the danger zone with his teammates, on the way back to rescue the 4th person, Sergeant Phan Luong Hai was unfortunately cut by a sheet of corrugated iron.

Despite being injured, Sergeant Hai and his teammates continued to evacuate many people trapped in the flood to the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police headquarters to avoid the flood.

Sergeant Hai was then taken to Hue Central Hospital by his teammates for emergency treatment at around 1 a.m. on October 28. Currently, Hai's health is stable and is being monitored.

At the hospital, Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang kindly visited and praised the bravery and dedication of Sergeant Phan Luong Hai and his teammates in serving the people. At the same time, the Colonel also wished Hai a speedy recovery and continued to carry out the task of protecting the security and safety of the people with his teammates.
