Disaster prevention and control work has been seriously deployed according to the city's direction; the commune has established disaster prevention and control teams, inspected the sewer system, braced houses, schools and public works.

As of the afternoon of October 29, many low-lying areas in An Cuu Ward were still flooded. According to the leaders of An Cuu Ward, in recent days, the ward has mobilized all armed forces, associations and unions to evacuate all households affected by floods to safety. Many sick cases, pregnant women, etc. were given first aid and promptly transferred to the hospital for treatment.

Although many areas were deeply flooded and the water flowed strongly, the forces tried to reach the people, giving 300 boxes of instant noodles, mineral water, food and necessities. By the evening of October 29, all low-lying households in the ward were safe and had enough food. The forces are continuing to check households and students in low-lying areas to evacuate them to safety tonight.

Forecasting that the flood situation will continue to be complicated, the leaders of An Cuu ward proposed to the Chairman of the City People's Committee and the members of the delegation to urgently support 500 more boxes of instant noodles and mineral water. At the same time, urgently support 1 generator, 1 canoe, 5 mud sprayers to ensure relief and rescue work during the flood and post-flood recovery.
