Protecting the market in the era of integration.

In the context of an increasingly dynamic market and deeper economic integration, the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods in Ca Mau province faces many new challenges, both in terms of scale and nature of violations.

  • Provincial Market Management Department: Destroyed a large quantity of goods of unknown origin and smuggled goods.
  • Guide businesses in seeking and expanding into new markets to stabilize rice prices and support farmers.
  • Promoting the development of the domestic market, stimulating consumer demand, and boosting economic growth.

Mr. Tran Huu Nghi, Deputy Head of the Provincial Market Management Department, stated that the provincial Market Management force always considers the task of inspecting and controlling the market not only as a legal responsibility but also as a political commitment, a "front line" protecting the stability and sustainable development of the local economy.

Proactive measures to combat trade fraud.

Given the continued complexity of smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods, the provincial market management force has implemented many decisive and coordinated solutions. Regular and surprise inspection plans are developed in close adherence to the directives of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development, as well as the Provincial People's Committee, focusing on key product groups such as: petroleum products, food, tobacco, fertilizers, and essential consumer goods...

The application of information technology is a key focus in management. Database systems and professional software help to identify "hot spots" and individuals showing signs of violations early on. This allows for focused inspections, reduces the spread of violations, and improves the efficiency of enforcement.

Inter-agency coordination is emphasized. Mr. Nghi stated that the Market Management Force regularly coordinates with the police, customs, border guards, tax authorities, and local governments in specialized inspection campaigns, expanding the scope of supervision and effectively preventing violations. Thanks to decisive implementation, the force has detected and handled hundreds of violations, seized many valuable items, and made a significant contribution to stabilizing the market and protecting consumer rights.

In addition to enforcement, the Ca Mau Market Management Department also promotes legal education and awareness campaigns, helping people and businesses improve their understanding and proactively prevent violations, aiming to build a stable, civilized, and sustainable domestic market.

Innovating management in the era of digital transformation.

According to Mr. Tran Huu Nghi, in the context of digital transformation and deep integration, the Provincial Market Management Department is implementing many solutions to modernize its management activities. The entire operational process is being digitized, from inspection and supervision to handling violations. Operating the electronic management system not only helps improve productivity and information transparency but also facilitates supervision and management.

Furthermore, the training of civil servants specializing in technology, data analysis, and modern management is being intensified to build a professional market management force capable of meeting the demands of the digital age. Connecting and sharing data across sectors with functional agencies such as the police, customs, and tax authorities contributes to improving the ability to identify commercial fraud early, creating a flexible and effective market management ecosystem.

The Ca Mau Provincial Market Management Force destroyed confiscated items related to administrative violations in accordance with regulations.

According to Mr. Tran Huu Nghi, the people and the business community are crucial links in building a safe, civilized, and sustainable goods market. People need to have a proper consumption mindset, choose products with clear origins, say no to counterfeit and fake goods, and proactively report violations to the authorities.

On the business side, Mr. Nghi emphasized that business ethics and compliance with the law are the foundation for sustainable business development. Businesses need transparency in production and business, actively applying technology and digital transformation to improve product quality and competitiveness. The cooperation and responsibility of the people and businesses will be key to effectively controlling the market, creating a healthy business environment, and promoting sustainable economic development.

In the coming time, the Market Management Sub-Department will promote digital transformation, apply modern technology, strengthen inter-agency and inter-regional coordination, proactively forecast and grasp market conditions, and promptly and strictly handle violations. In particular, the sector will focus on building a disciplined, professional, dedicated, and capable team of civil servants who can meet the demands of the job in the context of deep integration.

With a spirit of innovation, strong political determination, and a sense of responsibility to serve the people, the Ca Mau Provincial Market Management Force affirms that it will continue to contribute to building a transparent and sustainable goods market, for the legitimate rights of consumers and the prosperity of the locality.
