The 5th Congress of VietinBank Youth Union: Aspiration to contribute - Innovation - Solidarity for development

During the two days of October 27-28, 2025 in Hanoi, the 5th Congress of VietinBank Youth Union (YU) for the 2025-2030 term took place successfully with the motto "Aspiration to contribute - Innovation - Solidarity for development".

The congress was attended by comrade Lai Xuan Lam - Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee; comrade Nguyen Minh Triet - Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association; comrade Vu Huy Hoang - Deputy Secretary of the Government Youth Union.

On VietinBank's side, there were: Comrade Tran Minh Binh - Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Comrade Ly Thanh Thao - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and 200 exemplary delegates representing more than 9,000 union members in the entire system.

Overview of the 5th VietinBank Youth Union Congress

In the 2022 - 2025 term , VietinBank Youth Union affirmed its pioneering and creative role, contributing to the strong growth of the system. The entire Union has implemented more than 1,046 youth projects and tasks - many of which are at the central level , making direct and effective contributions to business activities, digital transformation and social security. The number of union members currently accounts for more than 50% of the workforce at VietinBank , and is one of the pioneering teams implementing Resolution 54 on digital transformation with more than 50 initiatives to apply new technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in business processes. The movements "Creative Youth", "Model Youth", "Living a profitable life" ... have spread the spirit of innovation, contributing to affirming the image of a modern and humane VietinBank. Social security work has been widely implemented by the Youth Union with nearly 1,900 programs for the community, with a total implementation value of more than 23 billion VND. The programs "Pot of love porridge", "Winter volunteering", "Humanitarian blood donation"... have become brands , symbolizing the spirit of dedication, sharing and sustainable development of VietinBank youth.

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VietinBank Tran Minh Binh acknowledged and highly appreciated the dynamic and creative spirit of the Youth Union members. The Chairman of the Board of Directors emphasized : VietinBank Youth Union members need to continue to pioneer in key areas such as : Digital transformation, green transformation, international integration , spreading the culture of "taking customers as the center" ... Comrade Tran Minh Binh suggested that the Youth Union organization needs to discover and nurture young factors, advise on staff development mechanisms, and build a team that "dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility".

VietinBank Youth - Aspiration to contribute, innovate, unite and develop

Mr. Vu Huy Hoang - Deputy Secretary of the Government Youth Union, praised the outstanding achievements of VietinBank's youth in the past term, especially the completion of 11/11 targets, pioneering in innovation and social security. In the 2025 - 2030 term , VietinBank's Youth Union needs to continue to promote its pioneering role in implementing political tasks, building each branch into a "creative incubator", linking youth movements with business tasks, contributing to the sustainable development of VietinBank, reaching the regional level.

VietinBank Youth Union Executive Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term introduced to the Congress

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the VietinBank Youth Union, Term V, consisting of 28 comrades; elected 8 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 1st Government Youth Union Congress . Comrade Doan Thi Kieu Huong was re-elected as Secretary of the VietinBank Youth Union; Comrade Duong Nhat Hoang was re-elected as Deputy Secretary of the VietinBank Youth Union, Term V.

The 5th VietinBank Youth Union Congress is an important milestone, demonstrating the belief, will and aspiration of the young generation of VietinBank in the new journey, contributing to building a leading multi-functional, modern and effective bank in Vietnam .
