BSR, in coordination with the Border Guard Command of Quang Ngai province, performed the ceremony of handing over a solidarity house to Mr. Pham Ban.

This activity is part of a plan to build solidarity houses for disadvantaged families in border communes of Quang Ngai province in 2025, funded by BSR.

Previously, the Binh Hai Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Son commune, conducted a survey and selected disadvantaged families in the area. Following the survey, the units developed a detailed plan and organized the construction, ensuring it was appropriate to the local situation. To date, the Solidarity House for Mr. Pham Ban has been completed, handed over, and is ready for use.

Mr. Cao Tuan Si, Director of Dung Quat Refinery - representing BSR, shared: "This is one of the practical social welfare activities that BSR implements. Through this, we demonstrate the company's commitment to the community, especially to disadvantaged families in border areas. We always consider social welfare work as an important part of the company's sustainable development strategy. With the spirit of 'mutual support and compassion,' BSR wishes to accompany the community, help those in difficult circumstances, and create opportunities for everyone to improve their lives."

Lieutenant Colonel Duong Ngoc Khuong, Deputy Head of Political Affairs, Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard Command, emphasized: "This project not only has material significance but also strengthens the bond between the military and the people, businesses and local authorities. Through this, it aims to support those in difficult circumstances, especially in the border areas of Quang Ngai province."

Mr. Pham Quang Thai, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Son commune, expressed his sincere gratitude to the organizations, businesses, and functional forces that have shown concern and supported the locality in improving the lives of the people.

Mr. Pham Ban is a special case; he is disabled, lives alone, has no children, and is a beneficiary of government social welfare policies in Dong Son commune. The new house helps Mr. Pham Ban stabilize his life and also symbolizes solidarity and mutual support among border guards, businesses, and the local community. The Solidarity House Construction Program not only provides material value but also strengthens solidarity, contributing to building a cohesive and sustainable society.

This is one of the meaningful activities that BSR carries out within the framework of its social welfare program, aiming to support families in extremely difficult circumstances, contributing to the sustainable development of the community, especially in the border areas of Quang Ngai province.
