Before being raised, the national flag is folded neatly and carefully preserved. Each soldier undertakes a separate task in the flag-raising ceremony, but must all coordinate smoothly and rhythmically to raise the national flag high.

To perform the flag-raising ceremony, a team of three people is needed, one of whom is responsible for attaching the flag to the pole, and the other two are responsible for pulling the pulley to raise the flag. They must practice regularly to make their movements smooth, beautiful, and solemn, and especially must be healthy because the wind on the top of Fansipan blows very strongly.
The sacred moment of raising the flag on the windy Fansipan peak filled every tourist with pride as a Vietnamese. For international tourists, who witnessed the solemn ceremony for the first time, the emotions were no less special. They felt the sacredness and emotion in that atmosphere. Everyone was silent, admiring the majestic natural beauty of the country and feeling the strength of the nation. For them, this was an unforgettable experience.
