This is the first congress after the merger of Ho Chi Minh City with Binh Duong and Ba Ria Vung Tau. Therefore, the scale of the organization has many new features, and the atmosphere welcoming the congress is all the more special.
From the city center to the outskirts, the atmosphere of preparation for this momentous event is vibrant, spreading the people's confidence and expectations for the city's new phase of development.


Along central streets such as Nguyen Hue, Le Duan, Le Loi, Pham Ngoc Thach, and Cach Mang Thang Tam, clusters of billboards, banners, and LED screens promoting the congress were prominently displayed.

On October 11th, a large number of youth union members and young people from Binh Thanh ward, in coordination with other units, launched a general environmental cleanup campaign in the area of 4 Phan Chu Trinh Street (Binh Thanh ward) and encouraged residents to hang the national flag along Chu Van An Street.


Later that afternoon, a full rehearsal of the entire program took place at the online venues of the First Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
At the Con Dao Special Zone venue, the technical team of Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television Station, in coordination with the local authorities, is urgently completing preparations, checking the transmission system, sound, lighting, LED screens, and connection equipment, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and stably on the day the congress officially opens.


Prior to this, urban beautification, environmental sanitation, and the display of flags, banners, and posters to celebrate the congress were also implemented simultaneously throughout the special administrative region.

Flags were hoisted to welcome the congress at Hang Duong Cemetery.

At the headquarters of the Special Administrative Region Party Committee – where the meeting point was located – the green spaces were neatly trimmed, and the interior was arranged in a dignified manner.


Ms. Bui Thi Phuong, Head of Residential Area No. 7, said that in recent times, residents have actively participated in cleaning up, displaying the national flag, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere in anticipation of Ho Chi Minh City's major event. She believes that in the new term, Con Dao will undergo significant transformations, with comprehensive investment in healthcare, education, culture, and social infrastructure, along with a focus on green transportation and a circular economy for sustainable development…


In Vung Tau ward, the Flagpole Square has become a cultural meeting point for locals and tourists. An exhibition titled "The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Confidently and Steadily Enters a New Era" is currently taking place here, a meaningful activity commemorating a major political event for the city. Large-format photographs, displayed according to different stages of development, help viewers clearly perceive the strong and comprehensive transformation of Ho Chi Minh City through its various Party Congresses.

Carefully examining each frame, Ms. Nguyen Minh Thu (a resident of Tam Thang ward) expressed: "Viewing the exhibition in the days leading up to the congress, I see the changes in the city through each Party Congress and I have a belief that Ho Chi Minh City will continue to play a leading role in the economic, social, and cultural development of the whole country."
Along the streets, at neighborhood corners, and in offices and units within the wards of Binh Duong, Phu Loi, Binh Hoa, and Di An, the area is also decorated with vibrant red flags and flowers.

The Phu Loi residential area (Phu Loi ward) is adorned with vibrant flags and red flags with yellow stars.
Many restaurants and cafes displayed Party flags and national flags in front of their entrances, adding a vibrant red color to welcome the city's important event.

Simultaneously, residents and local associations and organizations simultaneously launched campaigns to clean up, plant more flowers and ornamental plants, and repaint gates and fences. Everywhere, the spirit of collective effort was evident, demonstrating the pride and responsibility of each citizen in preserving and beautifying the city's appearance in preparation for the congress.
