Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai inspected the implementation of the provincial coastal road.

On the afternoon of October 29, comrade Truong Cong Thai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors inspected the implementation of the Provincial Coastal Road Project.

Reporting on the project implementation, Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects in the Eastern Region of the province Dang Khoa Dam said: The project has a total length of nearly 25.8 km, with a total investment of more than 3,825 billion VND from the central budget and the provincial budget. The project passes through Binh Kien and Xuan Dai wards and Tuy An Nam, O Loan and Tuy An Dong communes.

The project is divided into 3 independent projects including: Coastal Road Project connecting Tuy An district - Tuy Hoa city (phase 1), now the section from Binh Kien ward - Tuy An Dong commune (phase 1) with a length of 14.67 km, total investment of 2,228 billion VND, currently completed about 3.5% of the contract value.

Site clearance work has reached 48.39%. Localities are speeding up the approval of compensation plans and resettlement implementation.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai requested the units to coordinate to speed up the progress of clearing the remaining land to hand over to the construction contractor.

The coastal road project, section north of An Hai bridge (section 2), is 7.48 km long, with a total investment of 659 billion VND. 4.8/7.48 km of land has been handed over (64%), and construction has reached 38.3% of the contract value. Currently, some residential areas are still stuck in the process of land ownership registration, inventory, and compensation planning.

The coastal road project connecting Xuan Dai ward - Tuy An Dong commune (section 3), 3.6 km long, with a total estimated capital of VND 938 billion; is currently completing investment policy procedures, expected to be approved in the fourth quarter of 2025 and implemented in the 2026 - 2029 period.

According to the project investor, the total remaining capital that has not been disbursed in 2025 of the project is about 1,204 billion VND. This capital is for compensation, support and resettlement. Therefore, the investor recommends that localities speed up the progress of inventory, ownership, and determination of the origin of the recovered land; complete the compensation, support and resettlement plan, hold meetings to consider and allocate resettlement land...

At the inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai affirmed: The Provincial Coastal Road Project is a project of special importance to the socio -economic development of the province. When completed, the route will contribute to completing the coastal transport infrastructure network, connecting urban, tourist and coastal economic areas, creating development momentum for the eastern region of the province.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested localities where the project passes through to closely coordinate with investors and contractors to speed up site clearance and resettlement progress, ensuring the legitimate rights of the people.

At the same time, comrade Truong Cong Thai requested relevant departments and branches to focus on removing procedural obstacles to ensure the completion of site handover in 2025 and bring the project to completion on schedule, with quality, safety and efficiency.
